Application documents
As an applicant you should have obtained an academic Bachelor of Science degree in a discipline related to the content of the programme from a recognized University, College or Institute.
Required application documents
Required documents include copies of the following:
- Copy of the identity page of your passport/national ID card
- Certified copies of your Bachelor’s and any other academic degree(s) certificates and transcripts for all academic years in one file. Certification to be done by institution that awarded the degree(s).
- For non-English speakers, certified copies of the translation of your Bachelor’s and any other academic degree(s) certificates and official transcripts. If your documents are not in English, please arrange for these documents to be translated by a registered translator. These documents must also be certified by the educational institution that issued them or by a national authority.
- English proficiency certificate (where applicable). Required for applicants who have not obtained a previous degree in a program taught in English outside the three East African countries or native English speaker (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc.). The copies of the TOEFL or IELTS certificates to be attached to the application form.
- Motivation letter (recommended size: one A4 page).
- Two academic reference letters.
- Most recent resume/curriculum vitae.
- Photo to be used for student card.
The photo should meet the following conditions:
- It must be a color photo, 2 by 2 inches (51 by 51 mm).
- Face the camera directly with full face in view.
- Your face should fill at least two thirds of the photo.
- There should be no other people in the photo.
- You must be clearly recognizable.
- Opt for a clear i.e., plain background without distractions – preferably background with white or pale colours.
