How you will benefit from the course Graduates of this degree programme will acquire knowledge in the principles and practices that focus on the domestic and regional use of RE technologies and the challenges faced in their dissemination. The integration of Renewable Energy systems into the electricity supply networks together with the development of conventional autonomous Renewable Energy systems for electricity supply poses new challenges to a developing country such as ours. The MSc. – RE programme seeks to develop the necessary institutional capacity to meet the growing demand of electric power in homes, institutions and Industries across the country. The courses will be delivered through the following classical methodologies of lectures, seminars, laboratory courses, projects, external practical training and finally a research thesis. Additionally case studies and academic field study trips will be important complements to the in-house lectures and seminars. In future it is planned to deliver the course as Blended learning (face to face contact learning with a strong component of e-learning )
