The project has so far succeeded in lowering pollution levels along the river through activation of environmentally-friendly initiatives.
- TOBE/NCT/JKUAT Project
This project is tailored for processing and recycling of used polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles into high quality pellets. The project is now at productivity/commercial stage.
- NIPPON KOEI/JKUAT Project
This is a capacity-development project for enhancement of rice production in irrigation schemes (CADPERP) phase-2 in Kenya. The project is now actively involved in assessment of Carbon Credit at the Ahero Irrigation Scheme.
- ERASMUS+ Program SSATL-ESD for Sub-Saharan Africa Teacher Leadership for Education for Sustainable Development (ERASMUS+ Program SSATL-ESD), 2024-2027
