BSc. Aerospace Engineering
An aerospace engineer, will be specialized in the design, production and maintenance of aircraft useful within and beyond the earth’s atmosphere. Knowledge required in the achievement of these objectives are; mechanics and aerodynamics, thermodynamics, guidance and navigation techniques and control engineering. The aerospace engineers should be able to perform routine maintenance on aircraft. The engineer will also be well versed in design, which would be useful in the ever-changing requirements of the consumers of aircraft. The aerospace engineer will also be equipped with skills for technical communication, law in the aviation sector as well as management.
