The Department of Media Technology and Applied Communication
Ms. Lilian Wamuyu Mwangi currently works as the Chair of Department and a full-time lecturer at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) in the Department of Media Technology and Applied Communication (MTAC)
From mid January to mid February, the department received a volunteer visitor from Canada, Steve Buist, a retired Print Journalist. He had a privilege of interacting with students in their first, second and fourth years of study, where he took them through News Writing and Reporting. Steve exposed students to the facets of Print Media and what it means to be a journalist in this digital age. Before leaving, Buist met the department’s members of staff at the School’s Boardroom.
