From the then Ministry of Public Works, Kenya, he was posted to JKUAT by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
Crispino holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Nairobi, he also has a Master of Architecture degree in Housing from the prestigious Katholieke Universiteit Leuven that is in, Leuven Belgium, where he graduated with Master of Architecture in Affordable Low Income Housing Suma Cum Laude. From Leuven, he then proceeded to the Prestigious University of Cape Town in South Africa for a PhD in Environmental Behavior Study (EBS). He is an expert in Environmental Behaviour Study with a focus on affordable low-income housing.
Crispino is a long-time member of the Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) an international organisation of environmental behavioural experts that is based in Okhlahoma, USA. He has participated in several international conferences. His landmark presentation are at the Union of International Architects (UIA) Congress both in Barcelona and then in Berlin, and the African Union of Architects (UIA) Congress that was at the University of Kwazulu Natal, South Africa.
He has several publications in international journals and conferences and a vast experience in architectural practice.
