I welcome you to the to the School of Pharmacy (SMS), and thank you for visiting our website. This school hosts over 400 students who are being mentored by highly qualified Faculty.

The   School offers a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) which is intended to train students who will have the knowledge and skills to work as pharmacists and provide competent pharmaceutical care in a technologically dynamic world to meet the growing demand for pharmaceutical services.

The training is expected to produce pharmacists who will have the expertise to promote and provide preventive and curative health service in a competitive market. They will have skills to practice in various sectors of the pharmacy profession nationally and internationally including providing services in community, hospital, industrial pharmacy, training, research, innovation and entrepreneurship.

In addition, the School has a collaboration with the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) where the following postgraduate programs are offered Masters and PhD in Medicinal Chemistry and Medicinal Phytochemistry. Finally, I am grateful to everyone for associating with, and being part of this great school.
