ACADEMIC PROGRAMME COURSES, ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND TUITION FEE.
- All students must satisfy the common requirements for entry into the University.
- In addition to the above:
- students wishing to study for the degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy must satisfy the regulatory body entry requirements (Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya).
- For a student to be admitted, he/she must satisfy any of the following minimum requirements:

8.4.4: System of Education (KCSE):
Applicants must have obtained a mean grade of C+ and above in KCSE. In addition, they must have obtained an average cluster weight of B- in the subjects shown below provided that no subject in this cluster shall have a grade below C+ (plus).

A Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology with a minimum of a credit qualification from training institutions recognized by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya and a mean grade of C in KCSE with a minimum score of C plain in each of the cluster subjects above.

A minimum of two (2) principal passes in chemistry and biology and a subsidiary in mathematics or physics at KACE or its equivalent or credit pass at ‘O’ level in Physics or Mathematics

Applicants from non-English speaking countries must sit and pass the English assessment examination set and administered by institutions recognized by the JKUAT Senate.
