Hello and welcome to Nursing Education, Management and Leadership and Research (NELMR) Department, of the School of Nursing where we endeavor to train nurse educators, nurse managers and nurse researchers. Our department coordinates student research activities both at undergraduate and post graduate levels at the School of Nursing alongside supporting in the teaching of various courses both at undergraduate and post graduate levels at the school. The Department hosts the PhD in nursing , a programme that has since graduated four cohorts of students with many other students on course. The programme prepares nurses at doctoral level to make them key voices in their areas of interests. We pride in well-grounded research processes that make our graduates stand out to various spheres in their practice. We have a dedicated team of faculty who together work closely to deliver our mandate and that of the school of Nursing by extension. We embrace and work closely with external collaborators who are key in supporting training of our students in the various clinical placements, teaching practice and research activities.
