Scholarships to JKUAT students

Thank you – Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mabel Imbuga seems to tell Dr. Lucy Kithome of USAID Nairobi office. Dr. Kithome had called on the Vice Chancellor to announce support from US President Emergency Plan that has awarded scholarships to 46 JKUAT students to cover tuition fees, academic activities and stipend. Prof. Imbuga thanked the American people for the gesture which she said will boost the existing programs in the University for the Same Causes such as the Rattansi Educational Trust and Babaroa Trust Fund. The VC urged other donor agencies to come up with such worthy programs.Dr. Kithome was accompanied by her collegue in USAID, Jane Mboya and two Price Water House Cooper officials Penny Kimani and Gabriel Waithaka who are USAID consultants for the project.
