
Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology sends warm congratulations to all the students set to begin their studies at the University in September 2025. This year, a total of 6,865 students have been selected by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) to pursue different degree programmes at JKUAT.
JKUAT has over the years earned the trust of learners, parents and guardians as a leading centre of excellence in academics and research. As a comprehensive public university known for its strong focus on Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), JKUAT offers a rich portfolio of academic programmes across its colleges and campuses. The training areas include agriculture, engineering, technology, built environment, enterprise development, law, and the social, health, pure and applied sciences.
Majority of the students will be based at the main campus in Juja, while Karen Campus has received 177 students for its Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Analytics programmes.
Vice Chancellor, Prof. Victoria Wambui Ngumi has assured the newly placed students and their parents of JKUAT’s readiness and commitment to offer quality training that is industry driven and globally relevant. She added that the university has put in place necessary conditions for seamless integration of the new students into the university system.
“We have a very conducive learning environment in our university, including youth responsive support structures,” said Prof. Ngumi.
She added that JKUAT not only pays special attention to students’ intellectual development but also other aspects of holistic development such as honing of talent and ethical moulding.
JKUAT also welcomes other students seeking admission into its various programmes across its campuses in Juja, Nairobi CBD, Karen, Kisii, Mombasa, and Nakuru. Interested students can apply online for September 2025 intake through the portal https://admission.jkuat.ac.ke/login.
