Doctor of Philosophy in Urban Design

Minimum Requirements:

The following shall be eligible for admission into the Ph.D. programme in Urban Design:

i. A holder of a Master of Sustainable Urban Development, of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

ii. A holder of a Master degree in any other related field from any other institution, which is recognized by the university senate as being of equivalent academic status.

iii. A candidate must submit a research concept approved by the Centre/ SABS to be eligible for admission.

Upon admission, a candidate is required to develop a full proposal within six (6) months for registration

Course duration: 3 (three) academic years

Tuition fees for the three (3) academic years: Kshs. 510,500/= (Five hundred and ten thousand, five hundred shillings only)
