The main functions of the Division are as follows:
- Human Capital Management – management of human resource through attraction and retention plans. These include competitive recruitment, training, promotion, reward management and employee welfare
- Health Services – Provision of health services to staff, dependants, students and the general public
- Catering & Hospitality – provision of catering services to staff, students and public
- Accommodation – Provision of accommodation services to students and guests
- Transport – Provision of transport services to staff and students
- Printery – Provision of printing and publishing service to staff and students
- Laundry – provision of laundry services to staff, students and public
- Tailoring – Provision of tailoring services to staff and students
- Central Services – Management of University cleaning service, management of telephone services, facilitating processing of utility bills and processing requests for industrial attachment
- Planning & ISO Secretariat – Management of University Quality & Environmental Management systems, management of university human resource needs and plans (staff establishment) and coordination of divisional performance contracting.
- Central Registry – Management of human resource records, general university records and custodial point for mailing and other communications
