Dr. Fridah Simba, Director of JKUAT TVET, encouraged students to think beyond earning a degree and reflect on the impact they wish to make in the world during the 2025 Career fair held on 21st February. Dr. Simba also urged prospective first-year students to select courses aligned with their passions and to value both practical and theoretical training, especially in TVET, which focuses on hands-on experience.

The Career fair event was designed to provide guidance to students about their academic journey and career paths. Dr. Anthony Kirimi, Director of Academic Affairs, highlighted the importance of career guidance and skills development in shaping students’ futures. Dr. Stephen Aminga, Dean of the School of Law, emphasized the significance of all academic disciplines, particularly law’s role in upholding justice. He also noted that JKUAT is the second public university in Kenya offering both Bachelor’s and Master’s Law programs.
