It is my conviction and belief that the principal purpose in pursuit of knowledge and acquisition of knowledge is to expand personal worthiness and value, capacity and potential for growth and by extension, that of the society and all its elements. I am prepared to make my humble contribution in this endeavour.

I have flair in management science with a bias in Human resource management, organizational development, strategic management, and its application in various management functional areas.

Areas of Specialty:  Excellent in Human resources management and strategic mobilization for value creation and delivery in institutions and people at all levels. Special bias on corporate governance and leadership, performance management, organizational psychology and development and relationships management, monitoring and evaluation.

VI.  SCOPE OF EXPERIENCE FROM CURRENT AND PREVIOUS

       ENGAGEMENTS:

I joined Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) as a  Lecturer in management studies at the then Entrepreneurship and Procurement Department in the Institute of Human Resource Development in April 2006. On 3rd June 2012, I was promoted to Senior Lecturer. I have held many responsibilities current and previous as provided in the following two sections for the last 15 years.

I currently serve as Senior Lecturer in the Entrepreneurship Technology Leadership and Management Department, in the School of Business and Entrepreneurship, College of Human Resources Development. My responsibilities are captured in the table below.

 3Member , Ministerial Taskforce in the National Treasury and PlanningDevelopment of a National Monitoring and Evaluation Agency to spearhead Monitoring and Evaluation programmes at both National and County levels. I represent the University in the taskforce and during M&E Events.
  KEY ACHIEVEMENTS Have successfully supervised over 28 PhD students and 50 masters students since appointment as Senior Lecturer.Managed teams that helped transform IHRD into SHRD and later transforming SHRD into CoHREDLead the team that developed business plans for Nakuru, Kitale, Kisii Kakamega and Kisumu CampusesLead teams that have reviewed 4 academic programmes and developed 3new programmes.Lead the team that developed relevant courses for civic leaders at the grassroots level across the CountiesLead the team that developed executive courses in Leadership and governance that saw over 1000 former councilors trained before the 2013 General Elections. Lead the team that developed 6 JKUAT PPP projects that were approved by the Cabinet and placed in the Priority ListMobilized the JKSOBE Club leadership for SOBE students to participate in the ongoing National Inter University Business Leadership challenge organized by the ACCA. JKUAT has the second largest number of students at 136 in the Country. Plans are underway to engage them with the Ajira programme of the National Government  Identified 5 potential projects under consideration by the County Government of Kiambu for implementation.
