Welcome to the Grants Management (GM) Directorate website! On this site we will offer you information about the GM Directorate and its role in the University.

The office is housed under the Vice Chancellor’s office. It was established in line
with the universities Strategic Plan 2018-2023 and the Blueprint of the Vice Chancellor, Prof Victoria Ngumi to transform JKUAT into a research university.
We are a one-stop shop for researchers and donors. We aim to make good of the varied funding opportunities available. As a team, we support researchers in grant
seeking endeavors by scouting for the call and enhancing research teams in
responding to the call. For the donors, we assure efficient utilization of research funds matching project objectives and work plans towards timely realization of results. This office will improve communication between JKUAT and the donors/contracting authorities.

We seek to maintain and continually improve on the grants management needs for researchers and donors.
