ABOUT IAESTE KENYA

The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) has over 75 years of experience in arranging international paid course-related work placements for science, engineering, and technical students in over 80 countries. IAESTE Kenya is one of the 87 members of IAESTE worldwide.

In Kenya, IAESTE was formed in 2004 as a cooperating institution under Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Over time, its growth in Kenya has faced challenges but through dedication, sacrifice, and student-employer orientation with a vision of cultural sensitivity, we have no doubt of greater success.

Currently, we have two local chapters, IAESTE Kenya JKUAT LC and IAESTE Kenya DKUT LC (Dedan Kimathi University of Technology Local Chapter), both operating under the IAESTE Kenya office.

Internships offered by IAESTE are carried out in research institutes, industries as well as academic institutions. Without a doubt, Kenyan employers have availed well-equipped local and international trainees.
