MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR

Quality refers to meeting the specified product standards to the satisfaction of customers, while Quality Assurance refers to the systematic processes put in place to guarantee that the output/product meets specified requirements or expectations of the customer. At Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, all stakeholders (university management, students, academic, technical and administrative staff e.t.c.) work towards enhancing quality in training, research and services.

DQA was established in 2009 to act as the anchor for all matters quality concerning academics. DQA supports academic units, by working closely and corporately with all the academic oriented divisions to ensure JKUAT delivers as per the charter. In short DQA’s role is to ensure that JKUAT graduates, products and services are fit for purpose while at the same time fulfilling all compliance obligations, consequently make JKUAT a global brand name.
