On Thursday August 28th 2014, Mechanical Engineering hosted an academic lecture on Innovation in Engine Technology and Education. The lecture was given by Professor Katsuyuki Ohsawa from Innovation Center for Engineering Education, Tottori University, Japan. The end of first semester saw very innovative project presentations from our fifth year students. The projects mainly concentrated on the design, fabrication and testing of the work each group of students had. At this stage of presentation (1st semester), quite a number of students were on good track to ensuring the projects become successful. Many students were through with the design phases and will proceed with fabrication come second semester.
