here in Kenya and qualify with to date computer skills greatly sought in the job market today!

Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology has an IT department at its Juja campus.

It offers Certificate, Diploma  Degree, and Masters courses.

 

Application Requirements for qualified students

(i)   A dully filled registration form – to be obtained from our offices/website upon payment

of non-refundable fee of Ksh. 500 for Diploma/Certificate and Ksh. 1,500 for degree courses.

(ii)   Two passport size photos.

(iii)   Copies of relevant certificates

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Applications for the courses are on official application forms.
1. click to download JKUAT IT Department application form. or obtain a hand-copy from our office.
2. Pay a non-refundable application fee as follows:

(Certificates: Kshs500/-
; Diplomas: 1000/-
; Degrees: Kshs1,500/-
; Masters: 1,500/-).

3. Proceed on with filling the application form, ensuring all mandatory fields are filled, attach photocopies of required certificates and submit when done.
Note:
You will be required to present certified copies of the relevant certificates, Result slips, National Identity Card, Birth Certificate for verifications when reporting.
 NOTE: IT Department will call or send an SMS to request successful candidates to pick An official admission letter.

  1. My brother attained mean grade of B- and Eng C+, Kisw B-, Maths C, Bio c+, Phy B, Chem B, Geo B-, CRE A. In the last year 2014 Exams. He wants to do Bsc. in IT, can He qualify for the course, and if so kindly send me the fees structure of ssp and the intakes on my e-mail address.

  2. Hello, Your brother is qualified for Bsc. IT but needs to apply for the course, pay application fee and attach the required documents. The university will scrutinize validity of K.C.S.E certificate, National Identity e.t.c and issue a letter on admission if requirements are met.

      Requirements:
      Mean Grade: KCSE grade C-

      Or Division III in KCE

      Duration: 3 Months (Full-Time)

  4. i have a diploma in IT with a credit pass from your campus advise on which year will i join and when is the next intake

  6. i did dip in ict with knec …module one pass ,module two pass and module 3 credit …now how many yrs can i do degree in your institution?

    • Hello Eliza, Thank you for taking interest in our courses. Kindly apply for September intake. Degree courses take 4 academic years, However the course may take a shorter period depending on other factors. Good day.
