ICT gurus meet in Nairobi amid sector challenges


Chief information officers specialising in technology will on 17/06/2014 converge in Nairobi to discuss four key pillars of the sector following proliferation of IT in East Africa.

The event, organised by technology researcher International Data Corporation (IDC), will explore challenges brought about by cloud computing, big data use, mobility and social media. “The last five years have seen emergence of a new computingera,” said Mr Onesmus Mbogo country manager

The event is tailored to provide thought-provoking insight to attendants, teaching them how to automate their business processes. Speakers in specific areas will lead them through a step-by-step guide on how technology helps revenue growth. The forum will take place at the Intercontinental Hotel. It will be a duplicate of other events that have been held in Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, South Africa, North Africa and Turkey
