JKUAT IT students travel to Germany on a students exchange programme

JKUAT IT students on Sunday 18th September 2016 traveled to Germany on a students exchange programme. A new group of students is selected every year to study at Germany Flensburg University. The exchange allows students to learn more from other universities and explore how what they learn applies to real world situations. Inter-university collaborations have brought unique interactions among  Germans and Kenyans. Such contacts of cultures are also crucial in fostering understanding among nations.

JKUAT IT Former Student Designs Kenya’s BraceScript, a new programming language for kids

Kennedy Kanyi, a former JKUAT student currently running Oneplace Technologies has launched BraceScript, a second level programming language targeted at kids to help them learn programming.   According to Kanyi, “BraceScript approaches programming concepts from a simple and fun to do point.
