Catering Section
The Health Services Catering section provides meals for in- patients according to the diet prescribed in the menu for the day by the Nutritionist . Other activities include:-
i. Preparing patients meals in an hygienic manner
ii. Ensuring the right proportions are plated depending on diet requirement for specific patients
iii. Ensuring that patients meals are balanced
iv. Ordering of food stuffs form the main kitchen
v. Ensuring the kitchen and utensils used in the wards are sterile and clean
vi. Preparing tea for members of staff on duty
