The department of horticulture welcomes high school students to visit the departments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Lectures are given on Careers in Horticulture and shown ongoing Research Activities in the department. In conjunction with the faculty of agriculture, the Department also organizes visit to schools to talk to High school teachers and students on Agriculture careers and opportunities in Horticulture
