The College of Engineering and Technology (CoETec) through Engineering Workshops and the Sustainable Materials Research and Technology Centre (SMARTEC) having developed a short course on Affordable Housing Solutions to be offered annually. This is in tandem with agenda 4 of the government of Kenya’s Big 4 Agenda, Affordable Housing. The College also envisions the course to contribute to United Nations (U.N.) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) numbers 9-Resillient Infrastructure and 11-Sustainable Cities’ Settlements as well as Africa Agenda 2063 Goals especially on Modern and Liveable Habitats.
This is to therefore invite interested persons who include but not limited to: Foremen, Artisans, Craftsmen and those with basic Construction Skills to apply for the 5 days course for the year 2022 to be offered at JKUAT Main Campus in Juja.
The registration deadline for the course is 22nd June 2022 and the training will run between 27th June 2022 and 1ts July 2022.
