Minimizing exposure to coronavirus is key to protecting JKUAT Nakuru students, faculty and staff from COVID-19. The JKUAT Nakuru Campus has recently relocated from Kwanza House to a more strategic place, commonly known as Resma Plaza, which is opposite Kenya Police regional offices just some meters off Oginga Odinga road. This is in pursuit of a better serene learning environment, lecture halls, laboratories, accommodation facilities and space for extra-curricular activities, as required in the Kenya’s university education Chatter regulations. IBM Digital-Nation Africa platform registration

IBM has launched a new online learning program called Digital-Nation Africa (DNA) which is free for the JKUAT Students. Registration is therefore ongoing at the JKUAT Library E-Resource. DNA is a cloud-based learning platform. It is designed to provide free skills development programs for up to 25 million African youths over a period of five years. This will enable digital competence and nurturing innovation in Africa. Students Visiting Taifa Laptop Assembly Plant

On 19th October, 2018 students from JKUAT Nakuru Campus had an opportunity to visit the Taifa Laptop Assembly Plant in Nairobi. The Taifa Laptop brand is owned by the by the Nairobi Industrial and Technological Park (NITP). The laptops are assembled in partnership with Inspur. Inspur is an international firm based in China. The multi-purpose assembly line was installed at the Nairobi Institute and Technological Park(NITP). NITP which was launched in September 2015.
