JKUAT Mombasa organized a 1 day career talk consultative guidance and mentor-ship forum at the Campus on January 24th 2020, the much-anticipated forum was well attended by 168 form four leavers all over coast Region.
The aim of the career forum was to advice the form four leavers to widen their career opportunities, scope and to explore the wide range of academic and professional courses which are offered at the University.
The career forum was a great success, with satisfied participants. Over 5 industry partners in different fields gave talks to the form four leavers, Some Industry partners who attended the talk include Goldwyne Consultancy Limited, NCBA Bank Kenya,MTCC-Africa ,Sav Skills ltd and SafeBoda among others.
The Chief Guest Honorable Mohamed Ali. Mp Nyali Constituency urged the youth to take ownership in the fight against drug abuse and advised them to pursue their dreams regardless of how difficult the journey can be.
The forum offered students a unique opportunity to engage with staff and industry partners and learn about the different career opportunities they have on offer. JKUAT Mombasa campus offers various flexible modes of study that is full time, part time evening and weekend classes as well as e-learning.
