60 Graduands from Kigali Campus were honoured

DSC00707During its 28th Graduation Ceremony held on Friday 25th November 2016, a total of 4896 students were conferred degrees and awarded diplomas at JKUAT during the JKUAT 28. The ceremony, the second to be held this calendar year, featured 808 more graduands compared to the June 2016 graduation. Out of these numbers, JKUAT Kigali campus graduated 60 students, 12 undergraduate and 48 postgraduates. We expect to graduate more in the next coming graduation ceremony to be held in June 2017, because most students from various disciplines like Agriculture, Computing and Mass communication will be graduating its students for the first time. The graduands’ numbers in JKUAT have been on the rise in the last six years and this upward trajectory in graduands’ numbers is a testimony to the growing demand forJKUAT’s academic and research programmes. The University emphasizes practical and industry oriented approach in mounting its programmes, making JKUAT graduates most preferred by local and international employers.
