The JKUAT Mombasa Management organized a 1-day career talk at JKUAT Mombasa Campus on January 17th, 2019, the much-anticipated career talk was well attended by form four leavers, JKUAT Mombasa staff, Lecturers, and industry partners among others.
The aim of the career talk was to advise youths, parents, and the general public to widen their career opportunities, and scope and to explore the wide range of academic and professional courses which are offered at the University.
The career talk was a great success, with many satisfied students and parents. Approximately 400 students attended the Career Talk and above 5 industry partners in different fields gave talks to the students, Some Industry partners who attended the talk included Goldwyne Consultancy Limited, County Government of Mombasa, Mombasa Water, HURIA, and Kenya Ports Authority.
The talk offered students a unique opportunity to engage with staff and industry partners and learn about the different career opportunities they have on offer. JKUAT Mombasa campus offers various flexible modes of study that is full-time, part-time evening and weekend classes and also e-learning.
