A don’s rare encounter

E Mwai Kibaki on arrival in Arusha, Tanzania to attend the 10th Extraordinary Summit for East Africa Heads of State.

The Arusha campus, an initiative of JKUAT in response to demands for its academic programmes opened its doors to pioneering students mainly from the East Africa country of Tanzania in July 2011. Operating under a provisional registration granted by Tanzania Commission for Universities, the campus has gained popularity attracting many students now enrolled in the various JKUAT academic programmes at diploma and undergraduate levels.

Two undergraduate programmes; Commerce and Information Technology and a number of diploma programmes mainly in Information Technology and business related disciplines are on offer and plans are underway for JKUAT to rollout more programmes in Arusha.
