Statistical course for Government officials


Sixty six government officials drawn from the Departments of Immigration, Prisons and the Provincial Administration were at JKUAT for a two weeks intensive training programme focusing on data collection, analysis and presentation which was designed to enhance the importance and application of statistics in decision making at their duty stations.

The programme jointly organized by the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science and the Directorate of Information and Communications Technology was closed by the vice chancellor Prof. Mabel Imbuga, Friday October 7, 2011 who called on the course beneficiaries to ensure they propagated the new skills that they had gained to their colleagues at work.
