I am  delighted  to  welcome  all members of staff,  new and continuing students and our stakeholders to the school of Mathematical Sciences.

The School  has two intakes,that is May and September, with the latter  being  the   main one. Currently,we  run  the following levels of degree programs ,Undergraduate, Masters,and Doctorate at the main campus. Please  visit  respective  departmental  website  to see specific degree  programs.   In addition,  the school offers Bridging certificate course in  Mathematics (BCM), for  those intending to improve on knowledge and skills in  Mathematics  well as keeping abreast of new methods in basic Mathematics.BCM has three intakes a year (January, May, September)I am happy to  inform you that  the School is in final stages of preparing  Diploma course  in Statistics,  Diploma  in  Industrial  Mathematics  and M.Sc. in Financial Mathematics.

As we  look  ahead and seek  to engage   with  challenges facing  higher education globally, we will continue to be dedicated to making  decisions that strengthen our school, create a conducive envi-  ronment for our students and academic staff to pursue new knowledge and position the school for future success.  Read more

The School   offers Certificate in Bridging Mathematics,  Candidates  for admission into the Bridging  Certificate  courses in Mathematics  should have    completed    secondary  school education  with a   minimum   of   aggregate  grade  C  in  KCSE,   or  Division III in KCE or an  equivalent qualification.Candidates with postsecondary certificate qualifications may be considered.Read more
