SoPH Staff Secures United Nations Research Grant

Dr. Nzioki J. Mativo, a lecturer at the school of Public health in JKUAT Main campus and a member of Amnesty International-Kenya Chapter has won a United Nations research grant. The grant aims at reviewing the status of domestication of the human rights to water and sanitation, and measures to ‘Leaving No One Behind’ (LNOB) actors in wash in eight (8) countries in Africa, Asia and the pan-European region. This study will be conducted in collaboration with United Nations University-Institute of Natural Resource in Africa (Team lead) the Global Water Supply and Sanitation Collaboration Council (WSSCC) and other researchers in France, Sarbia, Mali, Uganda, and India.
