Biography:
Sadat Mulongo Lunani is Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Jomo Kenyatta University, Karen Campus and holds an LLM (International Trade and Business Law) from the University of Western Cape and LLB from Moi University. He is also an Advocate of the High court of Kenya .Prior to his move to Jomo Kenyatta University Sadat Lunani was a prosecution Counsel I in the Office of the Director Of Public Prosecution . He has also worked as a District officer and Assistant County Commissioner in the Ministry of State for Provincial administration and Internal Security and Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government respectively. Sadat Lunani particular areas of interest and research are International trade and investment law, Competition Law, Intellectual property law and Financial services law. His publications include Understanding regionalisation and preferential relations in world trade law and policy: a perspective from the East African Community (EAC) and “Bank Interest rates and Charges: A Monetary or Fiscal Policy Dilemma?”2007.
