JKUAT and the surrounding community cooperate to achieve the following:
i) Master plan and maintenance of high standard built environment that encourages: provision of recreation facilities; various modes of transportation; establishment of craft and other forms of industries and wealth creation.
ii) Secure and safe environment which prevents and fights crime through good and effective planning by establishing: social control, identifiable social groups, defensible space(s), and easy accessibility by police and security Personnel.
iii) Industrialization and creation of wealth by facilitating private and public sectors to
plan and execute together plans of creation of wealth and industrialization, and establishment of both craft and other forms of industries.
iv) Infrastructure development and maintenance to achieve all weather roads, availability of reliable electricity, provision of adequate water, availability of telecommunication and IT, and construction of solid waste and storm water drainage systems.
v) Public Health and Personal Hygiene Education to emphasize: Basics of public and personal hygiene, and Public Health Act, and environmental management and conservation to promote healthy living.
vi) Human Capacity Development to give life long skills.
vii) Preservation and Conservation of National Heritage and Historic Sites for posterity and future generations.
