The launching of the Pan African University will take place on 13th – 14th of December 2011. The event will be held at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa. Representatives of the different thematic institutes, ministers of education, vice chancellors and other development partners will be present at the historic event.
The chairman of the African Union, His Excellency, President Theodore Obiang Mbasogo will also grace this remarkable occassion.
The Pan African University project started a couple of years ago and it is aimed at promoting intra-african mobility and exchange among African countries. It is also aimed at promoting regional and sub-regional integration across the continent.
