SHRD Sports Day

The SHRD(School of Human Resource Development) cup was filled with much thrill and fun as various departments in the faculty turned out to proof their might in the soccer arena.
The stages included pre-liminaries,quatres, semis and finals.
The two teams which managed to get to the finals were bcom 3 e and bcom 4 a. the two teams were able to balance the equation in the normal play time and of course in the extra time with a draw of two goals.
However to solve the problem in the sports world more-so in football were balancing of equations is not highly rewarding, they had to go for penalties. Here the fate of each group depended upon the goal keeper and the few selected players to take the penalty shots.
fans cheered while others held their breath as penalty shoot-out took place but the team which won the day was bcom 4 a.
The victory and hard work of the best two teams, the top scorer and the best player were not in vain as they were rewarded heavily by the sports secretary Mr. Timothy  Muthuri.the rewards ranged from cash, trophies and certificates. below find some clips of the tournament.
