In a move aimed at making education accessible to all in the country and the region as a whole, JKUAT officially opened a Campus in Mombasa to take care of the interests of  the Coast Province and its environs.

The Campus situated at the posh Mombasa Trade Centre, adjacent to Ambalal House took place early August at a colourful ceremony presided over by the University’s Chancellor, Prof. Ali Mazrui. In his address, the Chancellor hailed the Government for the new direction it was giving to the education sector by making it easy for the general population to access education at their doorstep.

He said he was pleased to realize that the Province which was the first to be educated was now graduating after several years of appeals. He urged Coastals to cooperate with the management of the institution by taking advantage of the courses on offer.
