JKUAT among Kenya’s Top Three in Web Ranking

Barely days after JKUAT moved 808 positions on Webometrics rankings; another international ranking by 4th International Colleges and Universities has placed JKUAT at position three in the country and 56 in Africa.

The results of the ranking, published towards the end of January 2013 considered 11,160 accredited institutions in 200 countries globally. The current ranking is based upon an algorithm including five unbiased and independent web metrics extracted from three different search engines: Google Page Rank, Alexa Traffic Rank, Majestic Seo (Referring Domains, Citation Flow and Trust Flow)

“4th International Colleges and Universities” is an international higher education search engine and directory that ranks accredited Universities and Colleges in the world by their web popularity.

These latest rankings confirm JKUAT’s commitment in upholding global excellence in training, research and innovation using latest ICT tools including an interactive website that continue to gain international popularity.

JKUAT has also developed an Online Repository platform where academic papers and research publications are disseminated for ease of access and citation by scholars within and beyond the borders of Kenya.
