INVITATION FOR DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMMES FOR JKUAT ENGINEERING GRADUATES

Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) continues to excel as a leader in the provision of engineering education and training. Towards this end, JKUAT Senate, and the Engineers’ Board of Kenya have approved the invitation of former JKUAT graduates of Telecommunication and Information Engineering (TIE), Electronic and Computer Engineering (ECE), Biomechanical and Processing Engineering (BPE) and Soil, Water and Environmental Engineering (SWE) to pursue relevant programs leading to the award of a second engineering degree (double degree). Double degrees approach is a current global trend, and is a common arrangement in renowned universities where they are valued because the graduate has multiple skills which make them more competitive in the job market, and responsive to national and international needs.

JKUAT invites applications from relevant JKUAT engineering graduates for the following double-degree programmes in the College of Engineering and Technology (COETEC), to be offered at the main campus, Juja:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (double degree programme)
  • Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering (double degree programme)
