The RUFORUM CEO, Prof. Adipala paid a courtesy call to JKUAT and discussed with the faculty possible areas of collaboration in the upcoming research projects. He reported that there are new two calls, that is, Erasmus Plus and the INTRA-ACP that will be of interest to JKUAT. JKUAT will develop proposals in areas of Energy, Research Methods and statistics (stem) and to consider partnering with UoN for one in Governance and Climate Change. Opportunities for Student support were reported in Lilongwe under the GTA programme for animals sciences. The faculty will also apply for support by RUFORUM for two students for postgraduates funds.
