The faculty of Agriculture, in partnership with the Library department held a one day workshop on E-resources. The event was graced by the DVC Academic Affairs who requested staff to guard against Plagiarism in scholarly work. The Director of research for JKUAT highlighted issues to do with ranking and importance of publishing in high rank or high impact Journals. He challenged staff to develop the culture of publishing in well recognised journal rather the lowly recognized and expensive journals. The Dean of faculty Dr David Mburu thanked the Library division for setting time to train Agriculture faculty of issues to do with E-resources while the associate Dean challenges the postgraduate students to use the tools taught in the course constructively and uphold critical thinking for innovation,. Issues of patents and processes of patenting were also highlighted by the Director of IP.
