Message from DVC AA
It is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you to Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology where we take pride in being the University of Global Excellence in Training, Research and Innovation.
The Academic Division is home to a number of colleges and schools whose guiding principal is to leave an indelible ink as they impart knowledge, skills and positive attitude in the students that they teach and guide in research.
The Division endeavors to play a key role in not only fulfilling the Kenya Government’s The Big 4 Agenda (food security, affordable housing, manufacturing and affordable healthcare) but also leave its footprints in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals on the global scene.
It is for this reason that we invite all our stakeholders to be part of the university’s transformative and innovative agenda that does not only change individual lives but those of global citizens as well.
Under the Academic Division are a number of colleges and schools.
The Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic Affairs) has several sections that help in the running of its day to day duties. Key among these are: The Registrar (Academic Affairs), Deputy Registrar (Programs &Training), Deputy Registrar (Admissions), Deputy Registrar (Examinations), Deputy Registrar (Planning & Budgetary), Dean of Students Office, University Librarian, Alumni and International Students Office (ALISSO).
