DIPCA has been undertaking sensitization of staff on performance contracting and Appraisal. On 30th and 31st May 2011, the JKUAT Arusha Center staff were taken through the general overview of performance contracting including its historical context in the Kenya’s citizen service-delivery system, the performance contract development process, performance contract cascading through all the layers of management in JKUAT, as well as performance contract reports, formats, evidence and reporting periods. The staff were also taken through the individual performance contracting process including development, negotiation, signing and regular reporting. This was capped with the presentation of the linkage and complementary relationship between performance contracting and the quality management system.
