  1. The director Oversees the functions and responsibilities of the Academic Quality Assurance.
  2. Maintains a working contact with other University organs/officers on Academic Quality Assurance matters.
  3. Represents the University at national, regional and international forums on academic quality assurance.
  4. carries out any other such functions as may be assigned by, Senate or Vice Chancellor.

  2. Coordinates Curriculum Performance evaluation.
  3.   Ensures collating, analyzing and disseminating of all data related to AQA.
  4. Conduct Quality assurance Audits of Campuses and schools
  5. Monitors self-assessment of academic programs.
  6. Develops annual performance contracts and prepares quarterly performance contract reports.
  7. Develops, prepares work plans monitors and reports on fulfillment of key performance indicators for DAQA.
  8. Prepares financial plans such as budgets and procurement plan,orders and control office stationery for the office.
  9. Ensures proper operation of the office at all times.
