A roof becomes a catchment when it is used for harvesting rainwater. Then it can be called a “Roof catchment”. Roofs are the most common types of catchment used for harvesting rainfall. WARREC partners with NCWSC to launch the first ever Bathymetric boat to assess sedimentation in Ruiru Dam

The Water Research and Resource Center (WARREC) in partnership with Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company (NCWSC) has started the implementation of a reservoir sedimentation research in the Ruiru reservoir.
