This year’s KSEEE – JSAEM conference successfully took place at the Technical University of Mombasa between 10th and 12th September 2014. Several members of our department were present at the conference and also participated. Additionally, various participants both local and international also presented at the conference in line with the theme of this years conference “”Engineering, Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship for a Green Economy””. This year’s first years September 2014 group was officially welcomed to the department yesterday afternoon by the departmental staff both technical and the teaching staff. The fifty plus new students exuded confidence in their choice of Telecommunications engineering as their degree course to pursue. Additionally their quest to quench their thirst for acquiring knowledge couldn’t be hidden since they had streaming questions on what was what expected of them and attentiveness that caught my eyes.
