Please advice me on whether in the department of pure and applied maths one can pursue maths and physics option in B.sc(general) and do more than 20 units in physics and 20 units in maths.

kind regards,

samuel.

You can only major in either maths or physics and do more than 20 units in each. But not both

can I possibly get a handout for the first year’s units in Science?

if i pursue a course in BSC PAM,where can i secure employment?

You can secure employment in Banks, IT companies, Government institutions among other sectors

Yes its possible, kindly visit the Registrar Academics office for more information.

why is it so hard for a regular student in your college to switch to BSc in maths amd science yet she has passed in all all the subjects quoted above?

is there any relashionship btwn math&comp sci&actuarial science?wich is more marketable?

Both require a strong grade in Mathematics => B=, A-, A

Mathematics and Computer Science require at least C grade both physics and chemistry

Actuarial Sciences requires a strong grade in English, Min C+ bit B+, A-, A are preferred.

Both require a lot of units in course including mathematics and statistics

Both are marketable especially for banking, insurance computer works, statistical research and business in general.

Is it possible for me to change my course bsc Science to another bsc considering am entering my second year next year..If possible which are the possible bsc i can join

Contact the Departments Academic Advisor, he/she will explain the options available and if it is possible to change the course.
