We will definitely look in to that. Thank you

  3. The Editor says:

Sorry, the next Maths and Computer Science will be in September 2012. Check for advertisements in the daily news papers as well as the JKUAT website

  4. paul says:

what exactly does the course entail

  5. valarin chelangat kirui says:

kindly want to joint the school of pure and applied maths. when is application dateline?

  6. daniel says:

bsc. Maths comp, what carreers does it lead to.

    • The Editor says:

A degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, students can become: Lecturers, Software developers, Computer engineers, ICT Managers, Bankers, Accountants among other areas.

  7. The Editor says:

The next intake is September 2012.

  8. dennis says:

What is the difference between Bsc. Computer Science ad Mathematics and Computer Science as there minimum academic requirements vary a great deal? Which between the two courses is more marketable and where is Mathematics and Computer Science knowledge applied in Kenya. Am coming to apply for this course very soon.

    • The Editor says:

The only difference is Bsc. Computer Science and Mathematics require more of Mathematics units than BSc. Computer Science. They are equally related but there is more advantage in doing BSc. Mathematics and computer science for you will have more market advantage because of the Mathematics units. You can work in a Bank, in statistical fields, lecture etc

  9. hajj abdulqader ally says:

what if i have all the requirements except mathematics and i go for a bridging coarse in jkuat will i qualify???

  10. Eric Kinyua says:

Please inform me more about computer engineering

    • The Editor says:

      We Don’t offer computer Engineering

      • Dennis says:

There is Computer engineering in Jkuat, but its referred to as Electronic and Computer Engineering. It’s not offered under the faculty of science ADP programme though but under COTEC, the department of engineering in JKUAT. confer with that department for more details as they know best about that course.
        I hope this was helpful.

  17. ruth says:

supposed to choose between applied maths, pure maths and statistics, what are the differences n which one is more advantaged?

  18. The Editor says:

BSc Computer Science more competitive than BSc. Mathematics and Computer Science.

  19. Liban says:

I got adm letter for the course i applied for (Bsc. Mathematics and computer Science) on 26th September 2012 but i have not yet reported because i only managed to pay to the bank account 3/4 of the fee for the first sem.. Can i come for registration?

  20. wilfred says:

what are the carriers in computer science?

    • The Editor says:
