Mechanical Engineering Staff Trained on Renewable Energy Systems in Japan

Through the JICA/JKUAT BRIGHT Project on rural electrification using renewable energy which started in 2012; members of mechanical engineering department have greatly benefited by undertaking research projects under the leadership of Jkuat and Japanese Professors. Several members of staff have received specialized training in Japan; and these include Mr. Richard Njihia, the late Mr. Bernard Kosgey and Ms. Doreen Irungu.
